Starting in Fall 2022, Canvas will be Loyalist College’s new Learning Management System (LMS). All courses at Loyalist College will have sites in Canvas. Faculty and students can connect to Canvas on and off-campus via their myloyalist portal. Canvas can be used to give students access to lecture, lab, and tutorial materials, provide communication within the class, enable student collaboration and discussion, generate and give assessments, quizzes and feedback, and assign grades.

These web pages have been developed to support faculty in their use of Canvas. Centre for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning (CATL) is providing instructional and pedagogical support to faculty.

CATL is available Monday through Friday, between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
