Exporting a Test from Blackboard
Step 1. Open the course in Blackboard where the test is currenlty created.
Step 2. Under Course Managament you will see the Control Panel, expand the Course Tools section and select Tests, Surveys, and Pools.

Step 3. On the Tests, Surveys, and Pools page, select Tests.
Step 4. Locate the test you created select the arrow down button, then select Export to Local Computer

This will download a zip file of the test to your computer. Be sure to save it in an area specific that you can access it easily. If it doesn’t allow for this option, it will save to your downloads folder. Once it’s in the downloads folder, you can cut and paste it to a specific folder you wish to save it.
Keep in mind it will not be a file that you can easily review outside of Blackboard, but it when you want to import it into another course, it will load from the zip file.
Importing Test to Blackboard
Step 1. Select the Blackboard course that you want to import the test into.
Step 2. Under Course Managament you will see the Control Panel, expand the Course Tools section and select Tests, Surveys, and Pools.

Step 3. On the Tests, Surveys, and Pools page, select Tests.
Step 4. Select Import Test.

Step 5. Browse My Computer and find the saved zip file.

Step 6. Submit
NOTE: This will add the test to the course, but you will still be required to deploy the test so that students can access it. See Creating Tests in Blackboard for information on creating, and deploying tests.
