Blackboard Collaborate

What is Blackboard Collaborate?

Blackboard Collaborate is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets you add files, share applications, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact with participants. Collaborate with the Ultra experience opens right in your browser, so you don’t have to install any software to join a session.

Collaborate allows students to stay engaged and up to date with course content when emergencies occur.

It is also a great way to engage with guest speakers.

Instructors can share content including; PowerPoint, videos, images, and other documents the same way you would in class. Students can join using a variety of devices including; computers, tablets, or smartphones.

Students can participate using the chat feature, raising their hand, or using a mic and they can also use and interact with the whiteboard feature if enabled.
